Coaching Process

Self-Awareness:

Assessments on:

Interests * Values * Skills * Experiences * Goals

 

This stage increases self-awareness that aligns with career options, maybe realized or newly exposed. 

 

Coaching Options:

One-on-One

There are no minimum or maximum number of sessions that you have to commit to.  What you need will be determined during your 15 minute complimentary exploration session.  Sessions take place over the phone and when necessary virtually.

 

Private customized sessions sessions may address the following:

  • Adapting to Career Transitions

  • Career Exploration

  • Customized Professional Development Needs

  • Self-Awareness

  • Professional Resume

  • Interview Skills

  • Work/Life Harmony

 

Groups

Two to four hour workshop sessions held on-site for groups of 4 or more are led by Coach Sherri. Group sessions can be commissioned out by employers, workforce development sites, career services programs, or other organizations.

Group sessions will have specific areas that have been requested to cover such as:

  • Customer Service 

  • Interview Skills 

  • Leadership Training

  • Professional Development (topics vary and can be customized)

  • Rapid Response 

  • Resume Writing 

  • Team Building

  • Diversity Training

  • Motivational Speaking (topics vary and can be customized)

 

Explore Career Options:

​

Information gathered will assist in the research of career options.  Online exploration sites will be used as a resource.

​

Investigate career alternatives according to skills, interests, and trends.

​

Develop a professional portfolio.

Accountability:

I will create a safe environment where clients will feel free to share, express, and capture their true feelings in order to find the career that is most authentic for them.  I will give honest feedback and utilize the most current and relevant tools. 

 

I will not work out of my scope or level of expertise.  If necessary, I will refer a client for additional professional services to best meet their needs.

 

A verbal and/or written exit assessment will be administered after each one-on-one and/or group session to ensure objectives have been internalized.
